I am a big lover of protein energy bites! Protein, carbs and healthy fats ~ makes a great snack.
Matcha is high in cancer-fighting antioxidants, contains fiber, which promotes healthy digestion. Contains vitamin C, chromium, magnesium, selenium and zinc and may help reduce blood sugar and cholesterol!
HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE:
In a bowl add:
3/4 cup vegan protein (I used @goodprotein vanilla 62g)
1/4 cup almond flour (16g)
3/4 cup cup greek vanilla yogourt (16g)
1/8 cup matcha powder 🍵
1 tbsp maple syrup
~ Mix ingredients in a bowl.
~ Take a cookie scoop or tbsp and divide mixture into 12 bite size balls.
OPTIONAL:
Then in a glass container melt:
1/2 tbsp coconut oil
1/8 cup zero refined sugar chocolate chips
Dip. Drizzle or coat your matcha bites anyway you like.
~ 8g of protein per bite
~ Makes 12
~ store in fridge
